A senior team, built on referrals
System Engineering Consulting Limited was incorporated in England in September 2011 and has grown on referrals ever since. The team is built from multi-discipline subject-matter experts with decades of project experience each, working as an integrated part of client organisations or as an independent contractor.
How we work
We approach projects with a small, experienced team from management down, in the belief that this produces a better outcome than a larger group with less individual experience. Engineering solutions should carry low technical risk, which for us means robust, proven technology, and a review culture that runs in both directions: we perform independent third-party reviews for our clients, and we engage third parties to review our own work.
Projects run in short cycles of two to three weeks, each one a formal opportunity to look back, correct course and report progress against the critical path. Our day-to-day collaborative tools, team chat, cloud storage and video calling, are open to our clients, and the team has delivered successfully while split across offices, countries and time zones.
Scopes have ranged from process and analytical studies lasting a few weeks to FEED and EPC engagements of more than a year, performed at SECL's own offices and inside contractor offices in London, Houston, Milan, Madrid and Rome.
