Programme and PMC engagements

• PMCJazan Refinery & IGCC — Saudi ArabiaPMC support to develop a new refinery and power plant, through a 28-month FEED and partially into EPC, as part of an integrated team with the client in KBR’s London and Houston offices. The FEED design absorbed significant scope changes, including the late introduction of the IGCC, and the optimisation work reduced the estimated project CAPEX.
• FEED·EPCFadhili Gas Plant — Saudi ArabiaTwo years of FEED support and eighteen months of EPC support for the new gas plant in the Eastern Province: development and review of the IFP package during FEED, then PMC support through design and procurement during EPC.
• PRE-FEEDCrude Oil to Chemicals — pre-FEEDPre-FEED phase support for a crude-oil-to-chemicals programme.

Brownfield upgrades, engineered and delivered

A series of control-system EPCs on operating LNG trains and gas infrastructure, several of them on plants where the as-built drawings no longer matched the plant.

• EPCOman LNG — propane and mixed-refrigerant compressor upgradesTechnical leadership of concept, FEED and EPC for new control-system devices in six existing compressors across Trains 1–3, delivered without current as-built documentation.
• EPCOman LNG — gas turbine generator system upgradesControl-system upgrades for two GTGs, from concept through installation.
• EPCOman LNG — safeguarding systemsDesign, engineering, procurement and installation commissioning of four replacement safeguarding systems, retiring an obsolete generation of equipment.
• EPCOman LNG — Elcon barriers and power supply, Trains 1–3Engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning for the MR and PR compressors and GTGs, delivered during a live turnaround. The client’s letter of appreciation for this work is quoted on our front page.
