Who we are

System Engineering Consulting Limited ("SECL", "we") is the data controller for this website. We are a private limited company registered in England & Wales, company number 07787335, with our registered office at 36 Crescent Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 1RL, United Kingdom. What we collect, and why

• Correspondence. If you call, email or write to us, we hold what you send us, your contact details and our replies, so that we can respond and conduct the business you have asked us about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where a contract follows, the performance of that contract.
• Technical logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use this data to identify visitors.

This website has no user accounts, no forms and no tracking. We do not sell or share personal data for marketing.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Because there is nothing to consent to, there is no cookie banner.

How long we keep correspondence

For as long as the enquiry or the business relationship requires, and afterwards only as long as law or contract obliges us to keep records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to or ask us to restrict its processing, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@secluk.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change what the site collects, for example by adding a contact form, this statement will be updated before the change goes live.
