System Integration
A logical integration architecture for the plant-wide systems that sit outside the process control system, selected and specified in the early design phases, where the cost of change is still low.
Systems we integrate
- Fire and gas systems.
- Condition and rotating-machinery monitoring (CRMS).
- Asset management systems (AMS).
- Steam-turbine and machine protection systems (STMS).
- The interfaces that tie each of them back to the PCS and the historians.
How we work
The right moment to decide an integration architecture is during FEED, when the systems are still lines on a drawing. We help select the architecture and the components, define the interfaces between packages, evaluate the vendors, and then see the design through testing and site integration. As system integrators we work with our partner vendors where a project calls for it, and independently where it does not.
